Hey Brooklyn Parents: Help Your Kid Become a Rock Genius!

Do your kids love rock? Do they want to learn more? Then you've come to the right place. As an editor at a national music magazine and an award-winning rock journalist, I'm just the guy to help your little Rocklets delve into the magic and majesty of rock. I'm not talking music lessons -- I'm talking rock lessons. Maybe they don't have someone you can talk rock with. Maybe they want to learn more about the ancestors and off-shoots of the music you both love. Perhaps they just heard a face-melting guitar solo and are dying to know where they can hear more like it. The different styles, musicians and instruments; the unsung heroes and the legends -- mastery is within your child's grasp. If that sounds interesting, get in touch now. Sign your kid up for lessons and they'll gain access to a lifetime of rock knowledge, a world class record collection and access to audio and visual materials. Let me know what they hope to learn -- Learn Rock is tailored to the needs and desires of individual students.

Together, we'll focus on the following:

Rock appreciation: the different styles, where they come from and what they mean.

Rock Education: With access to a world class music collection, we'll fill any rock knowledge gaps.

Rock Understanding: Rock is not just a style of music; it's a way of approaching the world, a way to understand yourself and everything around you. But that way is not the same for everyone. Through close listening and discussion, we'll discover what rock means for each student.

These lessons were designed with school-age children in mind but here's the truth: I don't care what you know or how old you are, if you want to learn about rock then drop me a line at learnrock@gmail.com.

The world of rock awaits.
